     FAQs
How Your C-track Works?
The C-track unit is an intelligent onboard computer, which is fitted to your vehicle in a number of covert places. Our Trakker Control Room (TCR) , which tracks your vehicle 24 hours a day simply sends a command to the vehicle, thereby viewing the exact geographic location of the vehicle on its C-track base station via GPS. The C-track OBC marketed in the region have proven GPS/GSM technology, meeting ISO 9001:2000 manufacturing standards and European type approvals for GSM.

What do you do when you sell your vehicle?

The Trakker agreement is personal to the subscriber and, therefore, while the C-track unit is transferable, a new application form needs to be filled out to register the new owner. The unit may stay with the original vehicle or you may require it to be removed and transferred to another. The standard cost of removing and re-installing the C-track into another vehicle will be applicable.

In case the C-track has been sold with the vehicle, there are no transfer costs, as it merely requires the details of the new customer on the prescribed form with his password. It is just that simple.

To arrange transfer of ownership please contact Trakker Customer Services.

Is C-track effective?
C-track is installed in over 120,000 vehicles globally and recognized as # 2 in the global telematics market by ABI Research. Trakker in Pakistan alone has an impressive track record of having recovered over 2000 stolen vehicles worth USD 3 million and cargo comprising Petroleum, Tobacco, Cotton, Yarn, Garments, and Utilities etc. worth USD 2 million in its first five years.

Can C-track be fitted to all vehicles?
Yes, it can be installed in all vehicle manufacturing brands.

For how long are Trakker products under warranty?
Should the C-track unit become inoperative or is faulty by reason of defective components, workmanship or design within 12 months from the initial installation, we will repair or replace the system, free of charge. This warranty does not apply if the C-track unit has been tampered with, or worked on by anyone other than Trakker authorized personnel, or if the vehicle has been involved in a collision.

Can anyone other than me have access to my system?
Only those are allowed who have been registered as an Authorized or Secondary User and he / she is in the knowledge of the Password.

Can a C-track unit be transferred from one vehicle to another?
Yes, you are the proud owner of the unit and may request it to be transferred to any one of your vehicles. However, to avoid inconvenience please inform CS at least 10 days in advance. Only standard cost for removing and re-installing shall apply.

How do I know my C-track unit is working?
You can simply ask for your current location by calling our 24 hours operational Trakker Control Room (TCR) and verify the same. However, should your C-track requiring service TCR will call you to schedule the required job.

When should I have my C-track unit retested?

The testing is done on a regular basis as the unit is programmed to undertake a self test "over the air" monitored by TCR. It requires no re-testing, except when you receive a call from us. Please respond without delay to any calls made by CS for service of your C-track unit.

Does the vehicle have any security identifying features?

No! Features which could identify the vehicle as having a tracking system installed (e.g. stickers, flashing lights, honking, alarms, keys, dial-pads, remotes etc.) are not installed.

How does Trakker register my vehicle?

The data provided by you on the registration form is stored in our database. Please call and re-confirm the same to ensure there are no errors / omissions. Additional numbers if any may also be provided.
